Ed Rakowsky - Vice President, JJ Computer Solutions and Sales, Inc.
As an avid computer hobbyist, I have been involved in many computer related endeavors. I have extensive experience with the Microsoft family of operating systems including Windows 3.1, Windows 95/98/ME and Windows NT/2000/XP. I have been designing and building PC systems since 1996 and programming in BASIC and Pascal from 1984.
I design and build custom computer systems with the customer's needs in mind. Recently I built a "gaming rig" using the latest hardware from AMD, nVidia and Western Digital with water-cooling, cold-cathode lighting and all the bells and whistles!
I currently am the system administrator and IT department manager for Poly Plastic Products, Inc. I recently re-designed and implemented a complete network rebuild, transitioning form Novell Netware to Microsoft Windows Server 2003. This included new 3Com networking equipment, Watchguard SOHO VPN firewall hardware, configurations and Broadband DSL. Future projects include upgrading CAT5e to fiber and rolling out Internet access through dedicated Fiber and Cisco Routers.
My experience with John Williams and JJ Computer Solutions and Sales extends beyond this web site. I met John many years ago through Char-Will Kennels. He is the son of the owner of the kennel and we have collaborated on many computer related issues during that time. We currently will be working together on the hosting and web page development services offered by JJ Computer Solutions and Sales, INC. Some of the sites I have built are listed below.
